Is Kauai's Glass Beach worth stopping at? | Top things to do on Kauai

Glass Beach is a small beach on the south side of Kauai. I spotted it on Google maps while searching for cool/interesting things to see nearby. There were some cool pictures of it online, so I decided to go and check it out.

While there wasn't as much glass as I was expecting (I suspect people stop here and take glass home with them), it was still a pretty cool stop. I found lots of white, brown, orange, green, and even a few pieces of blue glass mixed in with the sand. The glass is from discarded bottles that have broken up and been polished by the waves over time. The result is small smooth colorful gems that are washed up on shore and mixed in with the sand. I thought it was pretty amazing to see how the ocean was able to turn a bunch of trash into something beautiful.
