Hiking Mount Ka'ala the Highest Mountain on Oahu | Best Hikes on Oahu, Hawaii

Mount Ka'ala is the tallest mountain on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. There are lots of steep sections, a small amount of scrambling, and amazing views. There are ropes on all the difficult sections to help if it's muddy and a large boulder with ladder rungs mounted on it. This is one of my favorite hikes I've done on O'ahu. The parking area at the trail head is a common place for thiefs to break into cars, so it's best to get dropped off if possible.

Elevation gain: 3,410 ft
