Hawaiian Monk Seals and Albatross on Ka'ena Point Trail | Best Hikes on Oahu | HAWAII Hiking

This is the trail to Ka'ena Point from Farrington Highway. Ka'ena Point is the westernmost point of Oahu. You can hike either on the dirt road or follow the beach trail to get there. Ka'ena point has a bird sanctuary and you can often see Hawaiian monk seals, sea turtles, albatrosses, and other large sea birds. There are views of the ocean the entire way. There is no shade on this trail.

Round trip: ~6 miles
Elevation Gain: Mostly flat.
