Kayaking Anahulu River with Sea Turtles | Bridge Jumping | North Shore Oahu

Anahulu River is a calm river that connects into the ocean in Haleiwa. It is a great spot for Paddleboarding and Kayaking. Since the river connects to the ocean, there are lots of sea turtles that swim up stream. We saw a lot of turtles both in the water and on the river banks sunbathing. The river flows under Rainbow Bridge which is very picturesque. The bridge is a popular spot for local kids to jump as well.

It took us about 40 minutes to paddle to the end of the river (where it turns to a stream) and back, but you could easily take more or less time to do it.
