Middle and South Teton in a Day | Climbing in Grand Teton National Park
I've spent a lot of time in and around the Tetons, but until now the only peak in the Teton range that I have successfully summited was The Grand Teton. Now I can add both the South and Middle Teton to my list.
We started by hiking up to the saddle between the Middle and South Tetons. After enjoying a great view of Icefloe Lake, we scrambled up the Southwest Couloir to the top of the Middle. After descending back down to the saddle we were able to make our way up the northwest side of the South Teton.
This was a big day with a ton of hiking and elevation gain. I was glad to have Raymond join me on this awesome trip!
Elevation Gain: 7,051ft
Round Trip Distance: 16.88 mi
