Wire Pass Slot Canyon & Buckskin Gulch | Utah Hiking

One of the amazing slot canyons of southern Utah! Wire Pass is a short slot canyon that connects to Buck Skin Gulch. We only hiked for about another mile in Buck Skin Gulch before turning around but the slot canyon continues for a long time and has multiple exit points (white house trail, Lee's Ferry) depending on how long of hike or multi-day hike you want to do. Remember to check the weather for rain/flash flood danger before you go.

Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness Area requires a permit displayed in your car to enter. You can get it at https://www.recreation.gov/camping/gateways/10071676

WIre Pass Distance: 1.8 miles one way
Buckskin Gulch: up to 40 miles one way depending on the route you take
