Epic Scuba Diving at Sheraton Caverns and Fast Lanes | Kauai Hawaii

This was such an amazing dive! When I got on the boat in the morning I was a little worried about diving conditions because the water was very choppy. But even though visibility wasn't the best, it turned out to be a great day.

Our first dive spot was Fast Lanes. I saw the biggest turtle that I have probably ever seen on this dive, which is saying a lot considering I lived in Hawaii for a year. It was huge! I didn't get a good close shot of it on camera, but if I were curled up like a turtle, it would probably take at least three of me to be as big. This was also my deepest dive to date (76 feet) so that was pretty neat.

The second dive spot was the spot I had hoped we would be able to dive. The Sheraton Caverns. The Sheraton Caverns are a series of collapsed lava tubes which make up underwater arches and caves that you can explore. The caverns are very popular for sea turtles to hang out at. They like to hide along the edges at the bottom. I probably saw over a dozen of them. Besides the abundant sea turtles, there were plenty of tropical fish as well as a few Moray eels.
