Queen's Bath | Big Island Hawaii

Keanalele is a fresh water pool in a collapsed lava tube commonly referred to as Queen's Bath. It's located on the gorgeous Kohala Coast in Kiholo Bay. The Bay has stunning views with black sand beaches, green sea turtles, and lots of swimming spots. We didn't have time to go all the way to the bay before dark, but Queen's Bath alone was worth the trip. There are multiple ways to get to this spot, the way we went has a short hike from a parking lot to the swimming hole. You can keep walking about a mile north to get to Kiholo Bay.

As the sign at Keanalele states: "Queens Bath is a scared place so don’t use it as your personal bathtub, a toilet, a sink or an ashtray. Enjoy it, but respect it!"
