Ma'ili Pillbox Trail (Pink Pillbox) | Best Hikes on Oahu | HAWAII Hiking

Pink Pillbox/Ma'ili Pillbox (also called Pu'u O Hulu Trail) is a short but steep hike up to six different bunkers (called pillboxes) that were used during World War II. There are great views of the beach/ocean from the pillboxes. The reason the pink pillbox was painted pink was to support cancer awareness. There are similar pillboxes all around the island Oahu, which you can hike too. These pillboxes look over the west side of the island. There isn't very much shade on the trail so plan accordingly.
