Hiking Lone Peak via Jacob's Ladder | Wasatch Peak Bagging | Best Hikes in Utah

Lone Peak was an incredible hike that ends at 11,253' elevation. There are a couple of different routes you can take to the summit. I ended up hiking the Jacob's Ladder trail. The views as you approach the cirque are amazing, both of the cliffs in front of you and the valley behind you. You get a good view of both the Great Salt Lake and Utah Lake from the top. You also get great views of other big peaks in the area. I thought the very last section of scrambling on the ridge to get to the summit was a little exposed, but I still enjoyed it. I'm glad I was able to check this one off my list. ⛰️
