Tripler Ridge and Moanalua Valley Trail Loop | Best Hikes on Oahu | HAWAII Hiking

This loop combines two different amazing hikes, Moanalua Valley and Tripler Ridge. I started out at the Moanalua Valley trail head. About 1.6 miles up the valley there is a cut off trail to the right that leads up to Tripler Ridge. Once on Tripler Ridge the trail is pretty overgrown so it's nice to have long pants to avoid getting your legs scratched up. The traverse across the top of Tripler Ridge to the top of the Moanalua Valley ridge was super windy and felt pretty sketchy, but might not be as bad on a day with less wind. There are beautiful views on the way up and once at the top. You can also access the Haiku Stairs (Stairway to Heaven) from the top of this trail.
